WELCOME TO HOPE FOUNDATION
Established in 2016 in Nepal’s post-constitution era, Hope Foundation works to turn constitutional promises into reality. In rural and marginalised communities, where rights often exist only on paper, we facilitate improved livelihoods, education, health, gender equality, governance, human rights, and resilience to disaster and climate change through community development and institutional strengthening, supporting both communities and government to build a more inclusive, just, and empowered society.
VISION
Hope envisions a just, inclusive, and prosperous society where constitutional rights are realised through equitable development and accountable governance.
MISSION
To advance inclusive, rights-based community development while facilitating the realisation of fundamental rights envisioned by the Constitution of Nepal through community-centred programmes, capacity building, research, advocacy, and collaboration with state and development partners.
GOAL
To transform constitutional promises into lived realities by promoting inclusive community development, strengthening governance, empowering marginalised populations, and advancing human-rights-based solutions.
OUR SERVICES
We manage community-based and donor-funded programs, including project design, planning, implementation support, MEAL, reporting, and compliance across multiple thematic areas.
We run structured NGO immersion programs and capacity-building courses for students, professionals, and NGO staff, bridging theory with practical development work.
We help organizations capture, organize, and use knowledge through documentation, case studies, learning briefs, digital archiving, and evidence-based knowledge products.
We conduct needs assessments, baseline and endline studies, impact evaluations, surveys, FGDs, and data analysis to generate credible evidence for learning and accountability.
We support NGOs and community organizations to build strong, transparent, and sustainable institutions through organizational assessments, policy development, strategic planning, leadership strengthening, and governance capacity building.

OUR BENEFICIARIES' SAY
Before I started playing sports, I was shy and afraid to speak in front of others. In my community, girls are often expected to stay quiet, help at home, and not spend time on the playground. I also believed that sports were only for boys.
Salu with her friend
Education gave me a voice. I can now read, write, and speak with confidence. I understand my rights and can make decisions about my own life. My parents are proud when they see my progress, and my younger sisters now believe they also deserve to study.
